The talk will trace the history of those who participated in the Zeppelin airship campaign that ranged over East Anglia from January 1915 until June 1917. With London as the principal target for the Zeppelin raiders, the majority of the combats took place over the counties of East Anglia.

It was here that the infant Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service developed a night air defence system to counter, and eventually overcome, the men and machines of Imperial Germany's Naval and Army Airship Divisions.
